They correct their mistakes
We had a great experience with Hughes, when all was said and done. First, we called them and got a quick response. They were out within a day of the call and two or three days later our trees were cut down and hauled out. Cleanup was very good. The tree removal included stump grinding, which occurred about 4 days after the trees were removed. The stump grinder (I believe he is a guy with his own business who subcontracts with Hughes) ground one stump satisfactorily, but not the other. I contacted Tiffany a few days after that when I cleaned up the chips and saw that the stump was not ground very well. She called me back after hours. The stump grinder tried to get another $60 out of me to “cover his gas” to come back and finish the job. Not happy with that. I told Tiffany and she and her husband were clearly not happy with that either. I sent in some pictures about 5 days later and her husband again called me after hours within a couple minutes of me sending the text. No excuses, just a good response and he had the stump grinder out the next day to perform the grinding to my satisfaction. Overall, I would hire them again.
Fast quality work, affordable rates
I had multiple trees for Hughes Family Tree service to tend and they took care of all the work we discussed quickly and efficiently! I now have two beautiful baby arborvitaes to replace the old ones, and the giant maple tree on the side of my house has been trimmed down to no longer be a nuisance to my roof!
The rates were affordable AND they got me scheduled & completed the same week as my estimate. Very quick and quality work!

Excellent, fast and efficient
I had a tree down in my backyard, they came to give me a free estimate on Friday and today (Monday) before noon the tree is gone! Everything is cleaned up and my dog has his backyard back! Thank you so much!!!!!
